Tim has been a Kingsburg resident since he was 3 years old. His parents moved to Kingsburg in 1967 and except for attending college in Arkansas, he has lived here ever since. Tim was raised to study hard and excel in everything he did. He has been married for 36 years to his wife Penny, and has two successful adult children.

Tim attended all the schools in Kingsburg, K-12, and graduated from KHS in 1982. Growing up he was a member of the YMCA Indian Guide Program, Cub Scouts, 4-H, and the Christian Service Brigade. He also played Little League and Peewee Football as well as Golf at KHS. Tim was also very active in music playing in the band in both elementary and for the KHS Marching Band as well as three years playing electric guitar for the KHS Jazz Band.

At an early age, Tim’s career goal was to be an officer in the military. He is very patriotic and really wanted to serve his country. However, after trying multiple paths to that dream, he was denied that career choice due to a medical problem. During college he began serving for the Fire Service. Tim made his career with the Kingsburg Fire Department by becoming the first full-time Firefighter/Paramedic in department history. He went on to serve 32 years in every rank the department had to offer, ending in 2018 after 7 years as Fire Chief of the department. He is very proud of his achievements while working for the Kingsburg Fire Department: 30 years as a licensed Paramedic in Kingsburg and 25 years for Sequoia Safety Council. Tim was the first ever Fire Investigator sworn in as a Peace Officer, State Fire Officer and Chief Fire Officer certification, as well as Executive Fire Officer from the National Fire Academy in Emmittsburg, MA.

After retiring in 2018 from Kingsburg Fire Department, he joined the Joint Service Honors Command, a military unit that provides full military honors to our fallen Veterans. He is once again serving again, which makes him very happy and proud to be doing something he feels very strongly about.

Since 1986, Tim was already serving this Healthcare District in its entirety by providing Fire and EMS service to the district and beyond. Tim believes he will bring another view to the Kingsburg Healthcare District Board with his experience working with the City of Kingsburg, his education and his desire to serve the community and its constituents. As a Board Director, he will once again be doing what he loves, serving the public, community and this great nation. Tim looks forward to serving the district in a new way and will do his best to make sure the healthcare needs of our district are met in the future.
